There is always more money to spend with a 4x4. I usually think that I will be all set with my next purchase and not get anything for awhile but then another thing comes to mind. The bottomless pit of spending that is a truck (in my case).

Body Damage is Cool

I'm surprised to see you plan on an AW-4 on a ground up off road build. It's a great Cherokee transmission, but not very heavy duty. I think one in a YJ or CJ would be cool for mild use but I would look for something a litte less electronic and more stout for a built up off road rig. But that's just me.. Good luck with your project, it sounds like fun.

Where is the body going? Or was the trailer the easiest way to move it?

easiest way to move it...It will sit on there until I am ready to put it on the new frame...I am going to do all my axle work and mount them, the motor, tranny and tcase before I put it back on....that way its hella easier...

Where do you find the time to take photos? I am always either too greasy or sound asleep! Big Jim

Are you going to convert it back to the TJ style manual fan, or are you going electric?

I was thinking of both....I was thinking of mounting an electric fan backwards on the front side...so that it is pushing air through and then also sucking it through....
