Well, I plan to be replacing my manifold this week because mine has a nice large crack down the middle that isn't getting any smaller or quieter.

Toyota quoted me $259 for the manifold and $40 for the gasket...
and Autozone quoted me $159 for manifold and $7 for the gasket...

In this case, should I stick with Toyota ? I don't want to use aftermarket if they crack easier. Also, what about the gasket? Quite a price difference, but it's the quality that I'm concerned with. I don't want to replace this again 6 months from now because I went the cheap route now. Or does it matter that much?

Any suggestions would be great. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" />

P.S. I also heard that the exhaust manifolds for the 3RZ and the 22RE are the same. Is this true???

Roll Me Over
Get a header instead and you'll be happier. Why not get more power, you need to fix it anyways?
3rz and 22re are COMPLETELY different, they run on different sides of the motor.
3rz and 2rz are very similar.

I took a look at some of those, they look pretty cool.<img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" /> I may end up getting one, I'm still not sure yet.

So nobody sees any difference between Toyota manifolds and aftermarket? Neither one lasts longer??
