holy cow,,,,,, what was hooked on the front end?
sorry man...
if you are going to part it out I am interested.. what is that front drive shaft. that is some travel.
if there is a next time,, no starter fluid. dig, find out what you are stuck on.
the air bags were not a bad Idea. even a bunch of inner tubes..
heck I may add inner tubes to my oh shait box.

Ok, seriously, give it a rest. I'm sure he feels bad enough already, and doesn't need a ology major going after him too. Go back to Pirate4x4.

Sorry to see that Tyler. I always really liked what you did with the bed, finishing it out and all. I don't like bed bobs where they just leave the welds exposed. The stuff you did was always among the best fab work I've seen on here. It's a pretty big setback, but I'm glad to hear you're gonna keep going. That's some serious talent to just give up on.

You didn't get going fast enough to hydroplane that did ya.. thats how you make it through those nasty mudpits

But ya, sucks. I had no idea you were stuck that bad. Guess its a good thing I didn't make the 1.5hour drive up to try and tow ya out because I really don't think I woulda done much.....

But.. can't wait to see trailrig #2. Now that you know what to do and not to do, your gonna put even my truck to shame

Crash

Sorry to see what happened to your rig. Seems you have more than enough skill to put together another truck. It is pain finding a solid rig in the northeast, those AZ trucks are unreal. Never in a million years would find an 86 in that kind of condition around here.

You could always submit those pics to 4wd Toyota Owner for the carnage section.

Good Luck and keeps us updated.

1st off REALLY SORRY ABOUT UR TRUCK!

looks like the only other way out of that would be to get a a gas powered mud sucker to pump water under your tires to free the mud's suction. then maybe a 3 6x6, 2 standing on end bolted to a 4x8 piece of ply on each side of your truck... then take the top one and bolt it to the top of the other two. now you have a crane... get a sick pulley and run a winch through that this way youd be pullin it up while the mud sucker has your tires 3/4 out of the mud then get somthin solid under them tires and your good to go... i know how much this helps now but im just tryin to figure out what id do if i got stuck that bad

ignore me...
now get off the 'puter n fix ur rig !

6man make one comment at teh beginning of this ang give pretty much a sure fire way of pulling out the truck without doing much if any damage and i get called a ass... If you would have done the side pull at the same time as the rear pull the truck probably would have pulled out with verry little damage... I have done this severall times were i was so deep in the mud i could not open eather door and had to climb out the window's. the side pull was just enough to break teh suction on the mud. maby next time before getting so defensive try it!!!And i learned this by someone that pulls vehicles out of crap for a living! Dude I never ment to be insulting with my first comment and if it came out like being a ass i opologize.
