Getting the Wheeling Fever
|
Hello,
I have been searching the Online Factory Service Manual sticky and have been unable to find info on how to get the codes when cel comes on.
I have a 03 Tacoma Xtra cab 4cyl, 5spd with 40K miles and the engine light came on today. The Oil and filter was chgd a week ago and the cooling system was also flushed.
The truck was parked all day today and when I went to use it this evening the cel did not shut off after I started it. Do I need to go to Autozone and have them hook up the OBDII scanner or can I some how find out what the problem is some other way. I used to have an 89 4Rnr before this truck and when the cel light came on I was able to jump two connnectors and when I turned the key the cel would blink, then I would go to the FSM and find out why.
Thanks,
