does anyone know where i can get a repair "patch" for the rear fenders of a 1st gen 4runner?
ya know, just the pre-shaped sheetmetal that welds in place over the edge of the fender.

i suppose i could make something, but im not nearly talentend enough with sheetmetal to make it worth while.

you could do what i just finished.... Just rebuilt all the wheel lips and lower sections of my box. Instead of using body metal i used steel plate. I actually found it easier to form than the body metal and i had a few pc's with some multipe curves worked into them... oonce its painted you will never know the diffrence and should never rust again and should take a pretty good beating... All i used to form the pc's was my vice, hammer, propane torch, and a old driveshaft for creating the curves... a few people have looked at it and said they could not tell it was plate untill they got up to it
