Getting the Wheeling Fever
Hey bansil, and everyone else here at the wire. I've been consumed with relocation and new job and finally got my hands on a new puter. Just wondering if you guys were heading up I-75N to hook up with 64 on your way to NYC? If so and if you guys need anything while in the Lexington area, give me a shout. Good luck and happy travels to you.

uh yeah, that would make more sense. not familiar with that road as far as the tolls go. I traveled it once back in 2000 on the way to charlottesville. All I can say is don't get pulled over with a radar detector sitting on the dash or in the windshield. They'll bust your arss for that.

I think it's only VA that gets picky about the detectors... and they got me last year for 85 on 81 ... right near the Maury River.

Doug, I pm'd ya about what I don't remember about the tolls. I think they combined a toll booth for the Del Mem Bridge...

I don't know how progress is on the new Wilson Bridge on 495 around DC, but you would be well advised to take the western route around DC ... anybody know if the new bridge is open yet ?

just had lunch with Bansil and Bunkee( hahaha that makes me laugh) good times. they had an uneventful trip to this point. I seriously doubt they will make it in the big city. THat should be an interesting story. I think they were stopping in Northern va to see rodeo guy and then on to NJ. Needless to say this could turn out to have some great stories. Look forward to hearing them in caliente. TTL

Just talked to Doug on phone... they made it to NJ, I'll see them in the AM . Uneventful trip except for the usual traffic in DC and BALT . He said they went 5 miles in two hours in DC, I believe it.
