Need a Spot
|
I am in the process of doing a dual battery set up and need to know where the three wires run to that go into the alternator behind the positive battery plug. It is on a 1995 T100 with the 3.4 liter V6. I believe I need to tap into the wire that runs to the ignition for this particular isolator I purchased.
Thanks in advance for your reply.

Toyota's alternator wiring hasn't changed much since '85 or so. This thread has some good info: http://www.4x4wire.com/forums/showf...;oldertype=&bodyprev=#Post894726Sounds like you're looking for the red "IG" wire. The other two wires are white "S" (voltage Sense), and yellow "L" (alternator Light). I don't have my manual in front of me to verify that the T100 is the same as above, but it most likely is.
