I had been having slippage probs with my 87 4Runner. Yesterday, I replaced the filter and fluid and hoped for the best. No luck so far. At this point it goes into reverse normally, but in drive, it takes a while to lockup. Usually,I can get it to accelerate in 1st without slipage and after a block or two, it runs normal in all gears, kicks down, and is fine until the next time i put it in park or shut it down.

That'll fit in my '85 4runner, right?

How much are you looking to get?

I guess I'll run it for now until I can find a replacement. If it craps out,I'll canibalize what I need from the 87 to get my 83 longbed operational.
