Getting the Wheeling Fever
I just obtained a set of 15x6 factory alloys for my '95 Montero LS and was wondering if anyone was running 31x10.5's on thiers. My Monty has stamped steel stock wheels with 31x10.5's now and I just want to change them out.I'm aware that this size is on the edge for 15x6 wheels and though having not had any problems with the stamped steel wheels(also 15x5) was wondering if the alloys would prove any different.

I've seen lots of people run 31's on the 15x6 wheels without problems.

Body Damage is Cool
Usually you want an 8-inch rim for 31s. They'll fit, but it will alter the shape of the tire a bit. Also if you wheel it, I wouldn't air down, could pop the bead more easily.

I run a 7 inch rim for the 31" Michelins on my 89, looks/wears perfect. The 33s on my 8" rims seems perfect too.

6" might be stretching it.. but you can get away with it. I've seen people do ALOT worse..
