87 Tropper II wondering if there is an altenator that will replace the the stock one. Not looking to do any fab work, if so I'll just replace the stock one. Jayson

Are you looking for a stock replacement or an upgrade?

Body Damage is Cool
I put one in when I had my 89 with the 2.6.It was a 110 amp I believe , but it wasn't cheap. It cost me just over 300 CAN , but it bolted right in.The only thing I had to change was the bottom bolt that threadedinto the alt bracket was replaced with a regular nut and bolt.No big deal to change. You might have to go back about 2 years or so in my posts to get more specs on it like name and part #.I do know its in there somewhere in posts on alternator upgrades. It worked alot better than the stock , especialy if you have a winch , or even just a few lights and a big stereo <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
