The Trooper does it again. Was cutting down some trees over the weekend, including one (about 40' and 18" diameter) that had grown through and was tangled in the branches of a big Oak. Cut through the base and the tree didn't move. Tied a rope to the bottom, attached it to the old Trooper, added a little 4 Lo and pulled 'er on out. Trimmed some branches, then dragged that log about 100 yards so the 'dozer can pick it up.
The fun was watching the neighbors! They couldn't believe that little bitty trooper could walk that big a$$ tree out of there so easily! Barely revved the engine.
If you go to the Zoo, always take something to feed the animals - even if the signs say "Do Not Feed The Animals". It wasn't the animals that put up those signs!

Last weekend I was out in back of my house trying to pull out an old gas pump that had trees growing through it. I've hit that thing a few times on my snowmobiles and bent a few skis. I wrapped a chain around it and hooked the chain to my front tow hook, put it in reverse and dragged it up and out through ditches and serious brush about a 1/4 mile without spinning a tire. Never even put it in 4WD.
I love my troopers...

My dad and i were thinning trees out on our property line and had to cut about a 30 foot leland cyprus out... we had to use the trooper to pull it out to cut it up about 300 feet away. i have a picture somewhere that we took.
Since it looks like a giant christmass tree, ive always wanted to use it as our christmas greeting one year. "How the Browns get a Christmas tree. Happy Holidays!"
We have also used the trooper to pull large cedar, pine, oak and weeping willow after falling them. Trooper does it with ease in 4lo. -J

Early this summer, I cut down my dying cedars at the house. Took my 90 4door and aired down to 12 to help save the yard. Threw a tow strap around the stumps. Put her in 4 low .... I wasn't even challenging no spinning tires at all. Trooper just sucked the roots outa the ground
