Getting the Wheeling Fever
I was at the local Isuzu dealership this morning to look at one of the few 4WD Ascenders supposedly left in TX, when the salesman told me to hold off for a few months. He said he just got a bulletin from Isuzu stating a 2007 seven passenger Trooper would be coming out then. They are not going to make the 7 passenger Ascender any longer, so are replacing it with the new Trooper. He told me this after he discovered that I already owned two Troopers.

I haven't read Wayne's "factory" stuff in quite sometime, so this may be old news. If so, sorry. Wonder if it's true.

this sounds pretty much like a true information. I do not believe that they be ready any sooner than in 2207.

This is posted on Motor Trend's site for what its worth.
"2007 Isuzu Trooper: New seven-passenger SUV is scheduled, if the dealer body still exists. "

If it is true, they sure aren't doing much to promote it!

I'd like to see it as much as the next Zu fan, but it's not going to happen IMHO.

You don't reenter a market with one vehicle. They could include the pickup (D-Max) but details would be here by now - it's well past mid 2006. Plus we would have seen it at one of the recent auto shows, no?

Speaking of pickups, they just launched a redesigned D-Max in Thailand, but no pics yet.

And Wayne's been too busy to update it the last few weeks......not that anyone notices ('snif)

Yeah, GM pulled the full sized Trailblazer, so the full sized Ascender had to go.

[color:"white"]? 04 Rodeo DI ?[/color] 75k mi, body damage on the 1st weekend I got it.
