I'm having a winch bumper fabricated and the OEM w.washer bottle will not fit in the space provided. I saw the images and suggestions within the long-travel suspension thread but can't get a confirmation on the T100 coolant bottle being an adequate replacement. I PM'd Jake97T and Fishy98t100 but Jake didn't go that route and Fishy is probably out fishing . So has anyone else done this or does anyone have an alternative suggestion? Thanks in advance. Brew

My w.washer resevoir is located forward of the air intake/filter on the passenger side so the coolant bottle should fit without issue. I'm more interested to know if the fluid pickup works ok with the coolant bottle and if it has enough volume. I have a 98 that is similar to the 97 that Jake97T posted here with both bottles are up front. Brew

Getting the Wheeling Fever
Its working fine so far. No leaks.. squirts normal. I drilled a hole on the bottom of the bottle for the pump. *make the hole a lil smaller so it will be tight.

Yeah the fluid capacity is less than stock, but it will last awhile...I just carry a jug of washer in my tool box.

It is being held in place with just a zip tie at the moment...been lazy to fab up a bracket. If you gonna get one from pick n pull, grab the lil bracket too. I got mine from ebay (made for honda accords, no bracket) for <$20...2 lazy to go to pick n pull.

Thanks Fishy,
I really appreciate the images. This is the route I'm going to take. Now just to find the bracket. Thanks again. Brew

no problem. oh yeah, just a reminder if others will be looking for one....its a coolant reservoir tank. many of them are not oddly shaped = easier to mount anywhere.

Here's a PIC of how mine worked out...

I decided to graft both the lid and screen portion of the filler-neck from the OEM washer-bottle to the coolant-bottle. My mechanic used the OEM bracket for the coolant-bottle and used bolts + bushings to serve as vibration absorbing, stand-offs fitting two factory holes on that side of the engine bay. He also plumbed the fluid pickup into the bottom of the bottle from underneath. He said it looked to offer the best flow. Thanks again for you help. Brew
