can some one letme know what color the cold side of the brake signal is. I am adding a electric brake controller

I presume you mean to control the electric brakes on a trailer...

on a 7-connecter plug:
1-White = ground
2-Blue = Brakes power
3-Brown = Tail lights/Brake lights
4-Black = 12v power
5-Yellow = Left turn signal
6-Green = Right turn signal
7-Orange = Aux.

You might want to double-check that, though. (Google it)

No I am looking for the color code under the dash that sends the power to the brake lights. This is needed to hook up the electric brake controller
