I'm looking at a 1990 2 door 4x4 w/5-speed, it has 162,xxxmi on it, are there thinkgs that I should be looking for? I know rust on the 1/4 panels, and on the bmper and stuff not sure that'll be a prob though as it's an AZ truck. I'm also looking at a 91 4 door thats loaded, 5-speed, and has 199,xxxmi the owner is asking $3,800 for it oh and the 90 is going for $3,200 obo

Any Ideas?? <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />

Ask when the head gaskets were replaced... If they haven't, plan on doing it soon (along with rebuilding the heads).

I'd also want to know when the Timing Chain (4 cyl) or Timing Belt (6 cyl)was last replaced.
