Like the title says...is there a difference between the rear shocks on the 90-95 4runners with coil springs and the rear shocks on all the other toys with leaf springs from 86-95. I'm looking at buying a used set from a someone and need to know if the coil springs shocks will work on my pickup.
85 SR5 4runner....Too many hours of work put into it, Hacked, Beaten, and Still running after all I've put it through
87 Turbo Pickup...Bought Her for $500 put another $500 in her and she's running like a dream.

I think the coil shocks have a pin mount on top and loop on the bottom. The pickup rear shocks are loop/loop. Might also be different lengths since they mount to different points.

Yeah, the 2nd gen 4runners use a pin style at the top and and eye at the bottom. They are not a direct swap from 1st to 2nd gens.
