OK.. Just replaced my plugs, wires, distributer etc etc...All the old plugs looked the same, tannish coating and the center electrode was rounded otherwise clean...Are these normal just worn out??? I've looked at some photos of different used plugs and think that mine were just worn....Also is there anyway to tell if my manifold is leaking. Just replaced the EM back to the tailpipe and was wondering what to look for if it's leakin? As always, Thanks

If they are worn out they would be missing under a load...were they? All the same is good. Did you put the exact same plug back in there?
If it is an exhaust manifold you are asking about it should make some little noise when cold and idling.
If you are asking about the intake it should miss when at idle.

Body Damage is Cool
It sounds like normal wear on the plugs to me. If the EM is leaking enough to worry about you'll HEAR it, no need to look for leaks. Even a small leakk is easy to hear.

The Jeep ran kinda rough after the EM was installed but now it seems to have settled down and is running great. I also replaced the ERG and O2 sensor.. I even noticed an increase in horsepower(not much but noticable). My old exhaust pretty fell out with no hassle so I know it was shot. Not to mention the Jeep sounded like a rice burner. Sounds much better now. But I do notice a sound similar to diesel engine when I'm standing looking over the engine. This is with the engine idling at 900 rpms. This is the sound that concerns me. It's not that loud, could be valves rattling. Didn't notice it before. Either way as long as the sound I'm hearing is not a leak I'm happy....
