There's a local shop here in Oregon (yet to find it but people alway's tell me about it). That will bend your leaf's or new ones to any degree you would like. I was thinking of doing this as my small lift (4") and then putting a shock that travel's more hopefully attating my greater articulation. I am trying to stay away from the block/spacer method for a lift and would like to know what other's opinion's and if you have done this what your personal thought is on this, Thanks.

Good for you for staying away from blocks <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" /> ....blocks lead to axle wrap and take-off shutter.
re-arching the leafs might sound like the fix....but that damn memory they have will result in them sagging back down. The combo of re-arching and an add-a-leaf will slow down the sag process. A combo of re-arching and re-heat treating and add-a leaf will last longer. Each time a leaf is re-heated it looses some of its carbon content....and becomes weaker also. Basically, I've been dealing with leaf issues since about 1985.....some people have great luck with the packs and some are stuck in hell. A simple thing like a long shackle that is kicked back too far could stress a leaf pack and cause sag. I like my dual coil assist solution personally. (bottom left of my homepage)

I have never had any luck with re-arched springs. If it worked you would read more about it in the many BB's.

4" is not a "small lift" and would be way to much to ask out of the stock springs simply by re-arching. For one thing they will probably end up way too short, making your spring shackles fold forward at full droop.

Well not so much out of my stock leaf's but getting this guy to bend me one's purposely for it. I want a lift that doesn't involve blocks of some time. I dont wanna have to resort to 40" tires just to have articulation I know I could recieve from 35's with just a smaller lift but all leaf's/coils/shocks. Could i take say some Chevy leaf's and just arch them into the place of my current shackles? Reason I ask is I know that if i took a IFS front end and did a SAS I gain like 5" of lift naturally from the conversion. I dont see why I can't just put leafs on or maybe i'm not thinking down the right train of thought?
Do you think 4" is to much for running 32x12.5's to start out and eventually go to 35's. (got a set of 4 with about 80% tread on them dont see a reason to waste a good set of tires).

4" is fine. my truck dosent look bad with 31's (sas & 4" rear springs). if you want articulation for cheap do chevys. and move the spring perches. if you arched chevys to fit in the stock location you would end up with something like 15" of lift.
or you can buy some 4" lift springs like i did originally. but the will not flex for crap, and ride like ass. (at least my skyjackers do).
personally, id try and do an add a leaf to you stock pack, with a longer shackle and maybee a 1" block if you need it. that would be the cheapest solution. forget arching the stock pack, its not worth it.

I want to try to stay away from the block's and my stock one's I got on this truck are actually litterally flat so...kinda why i was thinking of getting some leaf's custom arched, then putting some shock's in too for helping articulate/ride along with maybe a coil. Not so much worried as cheap, but dont wanna go spend thousands to do it ya know?

Not so much worried as cheap, but dont wanna go spend thousands to do it ya know? You're over-thinking the situation, I think. If you want a quality lift w/o spending thousands, look at Downey, OME, Skyjacker 3" kits. They will be perfect for your 33's and won't have blocks. They are not super-flexy, but are some of the best "off-the-shelf" springs. If you want to go the next step, look into MArlin or All-Pro 3" full kits. Don't have springs custom arched or re-arched, unless you are buying direct from Alca or Deaver.

FYI, I just called Marlin earlier today and they currently don't sell 3" springs. I wish they did.
