So my swapped in W56B shifts good with Marlin's nylon seat/ball and amzoil GL4 with just a very light hissing noise in 5th at highway speeds. The problem is an increasing drip of lube from the bell housing and slave boot (it is lube for sure - was down 1/2 qt when I checked it last week). I have ordered a "front bearing retaining seal" from the dealer. Having never worked on one of these, is there anything special to replacing this seal? Is this a normal issue or could the bearing be the problem? Thanks <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

Well since I didn't hear from anybody I called Lee @ Marlin Crawler. The seal is held in the seal ratainer cover and goes in/out with no problem. Hopefully the bearing is OK since it is pressed onto the input shaft.
