Getting the Wheeling Fever
Well, you can add me to the list of puddled up floorboards. Yesterday we had our first big rain of the season, I didn't drive the truck yesterday cause I've got to replace my clutch master. When I got home last night I went to pull it in the garage to replace the master and to check for leaks. Luckily there was only one puddle on the drivers side and tracing it down it looks like the same spot as you. Took the fender off and she's pretty clean under there, the truck was wrecked and repaired before I bought it so I figured just shotty repair welds. At least no rust, so I'll be cleaning the seam out really well and applying a generous amount of POR15 to the seam this weekend. and crossing my fingers.

Wow, I never would have guessed so many others were having this problem. Wish you guys were not having it too, but it does make me feel better. This is a tough one.

When I took the fender off, I found little rust, but I can see it under my dash on the other side. Hopefully one of us will figure this one out soon as it is a horrible PIA.

Getting the Wheeling Fever
If your problem turns out to be the windshield, check out 4Crawler's site for a repair using vinyl baseboard trim. I did it on my Toy motorhome, which leaked badly (floorboard puddle) and I don't think any water's gonna be getting thru for a long time.

If one removes the stock windshield trim when doing that repair, it seems that the removed parts fetch a nice price on eBay.

1987 4Runner 22RE (under construction) $80.77
1989 4Runner 22RE, 6" lift, 35" Dunlop mudders $420
All rescued from sitting to death, all auto, 'cuz I'm too dumb to drive a standard.
