There IS a TSB out for this. Depending on your VIN, either just the gauge needs R&R, or both the gauge and the tank (edit)sending unit need replaced. http://www.bedlib.org/ebsco.html click on the auto repair logo. Literature can be found for the rig there. I can't do a direct link for it, as the site is firewall sensitive.
