ok here's the situatuion. When I'm driving after the motor warms up I'll be going and then nothing. It doesn;t "miss" or die but it has no power and the more you push the pedal down, the more it slows down. If you let off the gas and wait a second and give it a little gas it will kinda start going again. It acts funny. Once it starts doing this, I can pull over and let it sit for a minute and then it will start and drive normally for a while and then do it again. Maybe fuel pump? what the hell is going on???

Check all of the vacuum lines - then try changing the fuel filter. If that doesn't fix it, rebuild the carburetor.

Ask any tech or service writer - a good description of the issues (like you gave) makes diagnosis a lot easier. Glad it's fixed. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />

Yeah it was something simple like I figured. I picked up a new fuel pump and filter before I posted about it. Just wanted a second opinion on it. I occasionally have brain farts so I wanted to make sure I was on the right track...

Thanks Frank <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" />
