Getting the Wheeling Fever
My enigne hood insulation has broken out around the plastic hood plugs. Plugs are still in place, but insulation is torn badly all along one side.

Duct tape, new insulation replacement or ???

Please advise,

Cruise the junkyards or grab a water heater blanket. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/notooth.gif" alt="" />

In Kali, don't see why you'd have one, unless to keep the paint nice.

it was explained to me that it is more about fire supression. when a fire breaks out under the hood, the plastic plugs melt and the thing falls onto the fire... supressing it.
