Howdy all,
Anyone know if a grille off a 84 trooper would fit on the 1989 Trooper? I know the blinker lenses are different, and the headlight bulbs, but would it bolt up? I think I saw where an 86 would bolt on, but unsure about the earlier one.

Do a search for "round eye conversion" on here. It's a somewhat common thing to do, especially for those that think the "round eyes" look better.

There should be no problem with the grill mating up with your Trooper. They are the same basic body style. You will have to change the headlight bezels also. That way you don't look funny with round eyes in square eye holes. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/patriot.gif" alt="" />

Groovy....
I did a search on round eyes before asking but all I saw was info on 1986 grilles.
Thanks for the info.
