I'm a big procomp fan.
I personally think their AT's are some of the best out there. Make a BFG allterrain look like a bald car tire.

BFG AT's are good for one thing I think, Sitting on. Ever since they Redesigned the tread face and the "bead-Protector", Yeah right. They Do not get the wear they used to, and they Cup Out On the inner and outer shoulders, they opened it up too much. Some People Love BFG's to death and will not run anything else. Others like the stance they give. Some like them for just Hyway use but they complain about the Wear. And Ill take Procomp over BFG At's any day, the Mud Terrain KO Ill take those over Procomp's. BTW, nice input on this question Thank you

I did notice that the new TA/KOs wore pretty soon on the highway, but that was mostly due to my wife's driving it on the highway. I still got 58K miles out of them, and could have gotten more but winter snow was upon me... Where I live, the BFG AT is the best tire for the type of off-road that I'll see. I haven't seen Procomps though, and I'll take a look at both those and the Yokohamas. In the past I have had Duelers, and their sand traction sucked.

The Rodeo has had: LT-225/75-R16-D Pirelli Scorpion A/Ts LT-225/75-R16-D Sport King A/Ts (split belts on all 4) LT-245/75-R16-E Sport King A/Ts (warrenty replacements for above) LT-265/75-R16-C Cooper Discoverer STTs (M/T) LT-265/75-R16-D Goodyear MT/Rs
Of the A/Ts, I prefered the Scorpions by far. Of the M/Ts, it's a tough call... The STTs voided mud a whole lot better - but in every other situation, the MT/Rs have been very impressive.
The VehiCROSS has had: P-245/70-R16 (the cheapest pieces of crap the Dealership would spring for) P-255/70-R16 Bridgestone Dueler A/T REVOs
With so much time having passed between the Rodeo's old Scorpions and the VX's REVOs, it's kind of hard to say for sure - but if I had to choose from among the two, I believe I'd rather have the REVOs... they really kick some serious butt in snow!

32x12.50x15 Pro Comp MT's on my Rodeo.Ive also run BFG AT's on my Blazer and Tahoe. The Pro Comps are WORLDS better offroad, but the BFG's wear better, ride quiter, and cost less. I still like the Pro Comps better tho. Thats why they're on the Rodeo!

Oh no not another tire thread
On the 4door Trooper 33x12.50rx15 Pro Comp MT's. I got really cheap deal 4 for 100 bucks with wheels. Good in the mud, but noisy tires just trying to wear them out DD and wheeling. I just can't take the howling for 500 miles to the mountains, so for long trips Pepboys Futura Dakotas ATs 33x12.50rx15. I really like the PB AT tires, but they suck in the mud. Likely to put BFG MTs on when the PC MTs wear down.
BFG MT 33x10.50r-15s on the RS Trooper, love them. Long lived and quiet for a MT tire.

I agree. Currently running a set of 32x11.50's and they are the best tire I have ever owned on any vehicle. For a DD/weekend wheeler, IMHO they're hard to beat.
