Roll Me Over
I'm just curious if anyone has fit 35's on a 98 and up rodeo? I'm going to go bigger and the door has me boogered. If I was an Amigo I'd cut to fit. The rear door is going to be an issue.

I know I can move my rear axle rearward a bit and just remove my rear bumper (and go with a custom steel bump)

I'd just like to see if anyone has been down this road.

Joe

We did have any problems on the rear. but my 35's are probably more like a 34 now.

Thumbs down. too shiny

when looking for a container to hold drained brake fluid, find a container that is different from the beverage you are currently consuming.

Chris,

Does that Amigo have a 3" Suspension and 3" body lift? I have 32" on my rodeo and wanted to hit that benchmark 33" but don't want to do a BL.

Its just a SL, no body lift. Those are my tires on it, we just tried them on. The front couldn't turn all of the way. The back we didn't have a problem. We even even took it for a spin on the road with just the 35's in the rear .
just to see what kind of power loss there was...not much .

And as far as it being too shiny....I know, hopfuly I'll get him to wheel it soon.

Hey Chris could you have actually articulated the rear at all? I know you could drive it like a street queen....

What kind of suspension lift did he have at the time?

Joe

I'm pretty sure you chould, but I don't remember if we did.
He has 912's and 2" spacers.

If you have 33's now, 35's will be 1" closer to the body.

here are a few pics of what I mean.

I'm not so sure about that Rodeo. For one it says it's a solid axle front, and it's still got IFS in the pics.

Another thing that's odd is he says he's got the Pacesetter ceramic coated headers. They never made these according to Pacesetter.

Here is his page: Rodeo on 35's (cardomain)

I'd like to know how he got that much clearance for 35's.

I can't see getting much more suspension lift than I have. Even if I put a body lift on I'll not have the clearance he's got above the tire??

Probably he has the front end totally maxed out. And generic 35" tires= only 33.5" actual diameter, and 10" wide rims make them even shorter. Looks pretty close to the Turtle.

Or maybe he has a 6" body lift.
