I had posted a problem a couple of weeks ago with my CJ 7 that I figured was the transfer case which I swapped out and it turned out wasn,t the problem. Upon removal of the TF 999 oil pan it was full of metal shavings, even a 1 1/2 inch piece. Anyway I,ve been surfing around trying to find info on whether the TF 727 would be a hard swap and lo and behold the answer is right here in the Jeep Tech FAQ Basically I would like to say this a great site with lots of good info.
