That's kind of a vague question there. There are going to be as many answers out there as there are members here. What kind of wheeling will you be doing? Are you going leaf or coil sprung? I'd suggest doing a search on here for SAS. There's lots of information out there that can help you in finding what's right for you. Just remember to set the date back a few years.

As for steering box. From what I've seen, it seems like a lot of people are running either the stock Isuzu box, or something like a Scout box. There might be, and I'm sure there are, others, but that's just from what I've noticed.

I think a general rule for doing an SAS is...."If you have to ask how to do an SAS, you are probably in over your head" You might want to get a 4wd first and go from there, you will run into too many complications with a 2wd trying to convert to 4wd SAS.
