Getting the Wheeling Fever

As most of you guys know that it is not uncommon for a 3rd gen 4Runner to take 4 quarts transmission fluid (Like my 2000 4Runner v6 does) instead of 2.1 specified in the manual. The reason I want to bring this up again is I believe it probably can take even more! At least mine can.
I regularly change my tranny fluid every other oil change (Mobil 1 ATF). I always fill 4 quarts and the truck has been running fine for years. However I've found that even 4 quarts just bring the level up to the second notch of hot area in the dip stick (Checking in normal temp with engine idles). It seems that it can take more.
Last night I changed engine/tranny fluid again. I filled around 4.2 quarts tranny fluid (still a little over the second notch, I felt nervious to add more). So far the truck appears to be working fine.
Anybody has same concern?
Thanks
