Just finished my knuckle rebuild w/wheel bearings. I used the Trail Gear Knuckle Rebuild Kit w/ Wheel Bearings, I like how the kit had everything in it that I needed to fix my front end. I cant believe how dirty the out side of the knuckle was by the time I clean all the crude and grease off I had a big pile on the floor. My wheel bearings were so bad they fell apart in my hands when I took them out. I'm lucky the tires didnÆt fall off the runner and tear more stuff up. My wheels were wobbling as I road down the road now everything feels nice and tight. I was so use to the front end being so lose it just doesnÆt feel the same now that I have all new parts and everything is tighten down to specs. Replace a few wheel studs that were messed up. That was one big job hope I donÆt have to do that again for a long time. The differential looks so nice and clean now I think its time to paint it. What would be the best color to paint the differential. You got to think now when I get most the major mechanics fix my paint scheme going to be Lime green for the body and flat black for all the accessories. I want to be seen coming down the road lol, everybody keeps tell me you donÆt want to paint it this color, but I like this color. My dad had a 69 Dodge Challenger when I was young this color I loved that car and color. Lolààà..Ron

Do you plan on wheeling it? Do you have stock Birfields and front axles. If you answered yes to all three, you will be in it again, carry spares when wheeling!~~~~

Now I'm no pro at it, but I can tell you this my friend; it gets easier the next time you do it. And it does the truck so much better, like you mentioned. Yeah, it's a good feeling . Steve

I figure i will be going back in doing other things, the hard part i think was cleaning everything. Now that all is clean it will proply be easier to go back in and fix things now. I just don't want to have to clean all crude & grease again so i will be keeping everything cleaner now.

Glad to hear I'm not alone . It was a PITA for me to take apart too and the beer got me through it. Next time it's the SST for me to take that sucker apart. Too bad it took a month to get it and my impatience got the best of me as usual. Ain't nothin' a brass punch can't solve As a president once said "I feel you pain".
