Well, I ended up with a factory 488 3rd that I quickly realized when I went to install a set of 5.29 gears.

Basically is seems that this 3rd is useless for my application however I am wondering if this particular carrier would be of any value to another person or if I should just toss it as the factory pinion was broke when I recieve the 3rd.

You should toss it..
Just tell me where.

It's probably on par in terms of value as the same 3rd with 5.29s

the factory 4.88's are a unique setup, using only toyota gearsets. not compatible with any aftermarkent gearsets.

if it dosent work, toss it. useless.

Yea, I built a 5.29 for the front, and the factory 4.88 gears are shot, so I really just have an odd ball carrier right?

Anyone want to swap for a normal v6 carrier!!!

And the factory 4:88 gears are expensive.

Body Damage is Cool
I sold mine for about $200 but it also needed a new pinion seal.

If you have to ask about a SAS, you're not ready for it.
