I'd like to mount it just before the thermostat, but I'm not sure the thermostat housing is thick enough to tap effectively. I searched and found a reference to an in line mount from Custom Aluminum Radiator. Since I don't yet know if that'll work, I'm looking for other options. I also used teflon tape to ensure a seal. You could add the JB weld after you have the probe installed, like OOPS did. This is the hottest point for the coolant so you get some interesting readings, hehe. I got the idea from OOPS, Shout out to OOPS for the idea.
