Was looking into a marlin 4" kit, but from the looks of things, that may be too much lift for me.

I want to run my 33's but would like to possibly run 35's in the future.
I have heard a lot about the 3" trail gear kit, anyone have this?
How does the trail gear kit compare with Marlins trail-flex?
To be honest, I like Marlin, I think the quality may be better and would rather buy from his shop, but he doesnt have a 3in kit and I dont want to get too aggresive.

So anyone run the 4" marlin lift or the trail gear lift? If so, what tires you runnin?

Thanx
-chris

i have the TG 3" kit on my sas'd '88. i belive that it is similar to the "classic lift" for the SFA trucks.

i have one leaf removed, and ended up with about 5" total lift. have 33's on it now, and it dosent look bad. will clear 35's with no rubbing.

yea, I think I am going to go with the 3" kit.
For 90% of the stuff I do it will be hard for me to justify going much bigger than that.
I may just trim up the fenders or do 1" BL if I need to go bigger

you should be fine with the 3", if the geometry of the setup is the same as my sas kit (which i think it is).

before i removed one leaf out of the spring pack, i am confident it would have cleared a 36" tire. I have no body lift, and stock fenders.

ABigail and I are planning to go with a leaf spring set up when we swap in the diesel. We are using a hybrid setup that we came up with using EFS shocks
