Anyone know of any fixes or upgrades to improve the braking performance on an '02 Trooper? I've had a few close calls in the last six months that left me wanting for a little more braking power.

braided lines are a huge improvement, maybe slotted rotors. Do you have new brake pads?

Do you have stock size tires? I always felt the braking in my 99 Trooper was pretty darn good for a heavy truck...until I went to bigger tires, which decrease braking ability same as they decrease accelerating ability.

Sorry, should have mentioned that the truck sits on 34"s. I realize this decreases stopping power, but I'm feeling like it's on the edge of being dangerous right now.

Should have known - but I didn't look under "lift parts". Thanks.
