It has 95k on it & I was wondering if there were any common problems that I should be looking for? The body is fairly decent (rt quarter panel has a small bit of rust), interior good, looks as thought the coils & plugs have been changed recently along w/ the upper rad. hose. Haven't driven it yet, I will tonight. Thoughts? Advice? Should I avoid it? They were asking $3995 & will come down to $2500

I'm looking for something as a daily driver to last about 2 years (8k/yr). I had a '95 Passport, but I bought it new & only put about 20-30k on it before I got rid of it. Thanks for any input.

If the maintence was kept up, you shouldn't have any problems with it. They can usually go a good 150K+ miles. With only 97K, it sounds like a pretty good deal. Make sure the Timing belt was done within the last 30K or so. Manual recommends 60K, whereas I just did mine at 100K, so as long as it was done somewhere in there you should be good.

Thanks for the reply. I'm hoping w/ the other maintenance that's been done that the belt would've been taken care of...I will check into it. I am currently driving it (haven't signed yet) & will take it back tonight to finalize things. The only issue that is terribly obvious is the brakes...there is an awful (heavy) pulsing on the pedal, I assuming the rotors are warped. I got the stealership to agree to do the work but I am providing the parts.

Getting the Wheeling Fever
I'd jump on it for 2500! I've got the EX model Passport (leather, all the bells and whistles). The only thing I hate about it is that it is a DOG going uphill. Oh, and you have to take other things apart to get to the starter and alternator. Gotta love those Isuzu engines!!
