Getting the Wheeling Fever
my 2wd and 4hi are currently not working at all the shifter shifts through all of them...its not stuck...what are the possiblilities..just bought the truck for cheap and have an extra top shift t-case lying around but would still like to know what the culprit might be for the forward shift that doesnt have 4 hi or 2wd...but the shifter is not stuck...right now it drives in 4 low with the rear driveline removed

the only thing i can really think of would be that the shift lever is not in the possition it is suppose to be in on the shift levers so it is simply not moving the shift levers. i would think that you would not be able to feel the lever "click" in to the different gear selects. that would be just take the top plate off and check were the shift lever is.
