Ha, check him out. He registered on the 27th and posted about an idle problem in the Toyota forum. Then two days later, he posts exactly the same post about the lights in NINE DIFFERENT FORUMS.

Looks like a loser to me. I'd say don't buy pro comp lights!!

Or he may not have found many people with these particular lights and wanted a wide base of experience to draw from. I'm looking to buy some lights and would like to know more than "they are bright." How do their quality of build, quality of light, and light spread compare to their new Motorsport series, or Hella 500's and Rallye's, or other non HID lights that are not super expensive or super cheap. Any suggestions and why?

They're a good deal for what you get, especially the 8" ones. Problem is, they rust. Maybe if you spring for the stailess ones they're better, but also more $.

I use mine every once in a while, but it seems like every other time I need to replace a damn bulb. I chalk it up to a cheap switch from radio shack and carry extras, but considering the 5-6 bulbs I've replaced and the rust factor, I should have bought a better set. Shop e-bay for a better brand - you can score some really good deals if you watch for 'em.

Just my humble $.02 since I haven't contributed in a while.

Take care,

Jim

Thanks a lot Jim bo, appreciate your feedback, painting the interior of the housings straight out of the box and drilling a few drain holes as well may take care of any rust problems, and some quality Osram bulbs should do the trick
