hey y'all ..continuing the no spark saga ......toyota screwed up an cant get the pickup assembly like they said they could (went to pick it up an they'd sent a ignition coil,n said oohh no you have to get a distributor to get the pickup assembly. duh )........only the whole distributor for 260+
i can get a used one for 100 at a junkyard
iv bought plenty of parts at junkyards jus never somethin electrical like this .....opinions??wise or not??

Yeah, they might tack on $10 or $15 to ship. Still, for that price, you can get 2

I was going to re-seal the power steering pump on the step-kids 97 Rodeo V6, Seal kit was $45 from the dealer. I ended up buying a good used pump for $10, plus $10 to ship to the door, took 3 days. Got me some good metric bolts of the old pump, the rest is trash, no more leaks .

Easiest way.
Take off your dist. cap, and turn the crank by hand so the rotor points straight up. Then loosen and pull the dist.
Insert new dist. to where the rotor will point straight up, (with a little adjustment around the mounting bolt), and tighten 'er down. Your timing will remain the same.
