I'd definately forget the 10" mall crawler lift and go for a long travel desert style IFS like the Total Chaos. Dixon bros makes some wicked stuff too

I definately would stay away from equal length control arms though. Look arround at pretty much anything IFS, you won't find equal length control arms anywhere. You might want to do some research on the basics of suspension angles and how they change when the suspension cycles. Things like Caster, Camber, Toe, SAI, Scrub radius, etc. If you have no idea what any of those are, I'd stay away from designing suspensions until you figure it out.
