Sweet!!! Now we are on the same page. 1/4 inch plate is my favorite material bumpers no prob. gen 2 have that covered need a gen one for reference for those there is a guy on here that is from placerville my shop is in shingle springs skid plates need gen one measurements have the gen 2 as far as the guy who wanted the long travel tubular front control arms been working on it. sas kit who wants one cross steer. my buddy jaden and i are collaberating to mix it up with some heavy duty toyota steering. thank you everyone for being decent Rxinhed might sell you a dead gen1 to mess with he has a few parts trucks. SAS with crossover steering would be good.

Keep up the work in progress! Glad to see you are tackling some other projects. There is def alot out there the market that would be close or could work with some minor mods. Look into checking out other designs as well to get some ideas that have worked for others.
As much as I'd like a 6" drop down, I'd love a SAS kit. I'd tackle one or two projects then expand to other things as people start buying what you produce. Thanks for all the feedback! And stick around

I too would be interested in something like this. I consider my truck an expedition vehicle and it just seems to fit. while I have built and wheeled "ultimate" rock crawlers and other extreme trucks in the past, adventure, exploration, and "true" all terrain capability is what I was seeking when I found my Montero. What I mean by true all terrain is I need something that handles all conditions including rocks, desert sand, washboards as well as many highway miles well. I feel the long travel IFS front, heavy duty spring rear is the best for my application. I know of a couple of baja builders and was thinking about talking with them, but I know they will be painfully expensive or worse. Anyone who wants to come up with a stout, quality kit for this purpose that I can bolt on myself will definitely earn my business.
