It might be a good idea to determine whether the Montero or Starquest torque converter is bettter for your application - I'm sure they are different and there might be a strength or driveability benefit to using a Starquest converter rather than the original Montero converter. I'm far from a transmission expert but I understand that a torque converter should be matched to the powerband of the engine for best performance which would lead me to believe that the Starquest unit would be more appropriate - hopefully someone more knowledgeable than I will post up with more info and recommendations.
