Getting the Wheeling Fever
i have been smelling gas for a couple of weeks,,a guy i know told me he though i was leaking gas....checked,yea it is coming from between the gas tank and frame,,me thinks fuel line as only leaks while running and short time after...2002 kia sporty.

i am wondering if anyone knows possible issues of dropping the gas tank and fixing fuel line. i helped my son replace a gas tank on a 72 cj once and it was a bad time for sure,,,every bolt broke and while had new gas tank all holders where shot......

Body Damage is Cool

there is an access panel under the rear seet, I would open it up first and see if you can fix it from there. If you have to drop the tank unplug all the lines from there, remove the screws at the filler neck and remove the bolts for the skid plate and the tank should drop out. If it has very much gas in it put a floor jack under it bafore you lower it.
