i got my hands on the pics we took at my brother's house.

here is the transmission skid plate, very wide, very heavy, in some aspects, it helps balance my center of gravity with the weight in my roof rack, or i like to think it helps a little bit.

here is the t-case skid plate we made to match the design of the factory skid plate; bending steel with acetayle torch is cool, but requires patience; i am glad we bent it instead of cutting and welding; overall, the plate is stronger that way.

here is a shot of my brother's 99; he installed ARB freezer, built his own drawer system off to the side, has two jerry mounts welded to the plates that originally held the jump seats, and put a 20-25 gallon water tank on the back of it all next to the 2nd row seat backs. overall, a very nice design that gives him more room that I have in my truck.

after my brother and his girlfriend burned themselves a few times in the shower, he decided to follow suit and install a thermostatic mixing valve as I did.

when you shut off the flow of water, it sits in the heat exchanger and gets to nearly boiling temperatures. when you turn the flow back on, you either wait for the hot burst to pass or get burned pretty good. other option would be to leave the flow going and waste water as you soap up.

now we don't have to waste water or get burned; this valve takes that burst of hot water and smooths it out by compensating the flow of hot and cold water at a set temperature........the valve was over 100 bucks, but worth every penny for a nice hot shower that isn't painful <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
