i ended up adjusting the "plan".
i stopped by my brother's place in mountain ranch and convinced him to break away from work. we fixed his miss bitchy and beat the death ride road closures over ebbetts pass.
we spent fri. and sat. nights on the river near vaquero camp and came out sunday. didn't go thru markleeville or nevada this time, returned via ebbetts.
gorgeous weekend.
much dryer(dusty) conditions than last month, but still able to find patches of snow in sheltered areas above 7000'.
