To see a lot of options type into google "air intake electric boost assist". When I first thought about this a while back I felt like Wile E Coyote super genius. Then someone told me that german auto manufacturers were already doing this. Shoot. I was thinking that this would be helpfull for the manual transmission guys when climing hills. Hit a switch and get a little more torque and fight off stalling. For the auto trans guys helpfull when pulling a trailer or also scrambling up a hill. Seems simple enough. If your not going to buy a kit, marine bilge blowers seem to be the way to go. They are 12 volt and cheap. 4 inch diameter and 250 cfm seems like the base line spec. Most of the kits have a micro switch that is triggered by throttle position. I am going to try this just using a manual driver controlled switch. When installing my KYB's over the 4th long weekend I'm going to open up the fender and check out the clearances. More on this mad scientist experiment to come.

Depending on which way you install the thing, it'll either suck or blow.

Here's a better idea:
Install a 12vdc motor on the top of your truck, with a long shaft that extends over the rear door. On the end of the shaft, install an airplane propeller. Or, just wire up about 50 bilge blowers on the outside of the truck.... roof mount would probably work best.
OTOH, if you mount the the blowers on the spare tire carrier and have them blow forward, it'll be like having a constant tailwind.

I'm feeling creative this morning - here's another idea:
Get a 12v compressor and install it in the truck. Fashion an air nozzle and attach it to the rear bumper. Connect the compressor to the nozzle via a switched valve, so you can hit the switch whenever you need some jet assist.
The problem would be the limited amount of time, but that can be increased by installing multiple compressors hooked to multiple tanks that can be sequentially switched - sort of a poor man's pulse jet.
If you wanted to add a sense of realism to the idea, you could inject compressed methane gas into the tanks for sequential release and include audio piped through external speakers.

Broke the lawn mower blade adapter this morning, been rying to find one so I can cut the grass before I'm gone again for a couple of weeks. Aggravating cause I cant get one, yards half mowed. I needed the laugh. Anyone going to bother telling the dude why it won't work? This is a lot less boring than the cool ideas the other guys are throwing out there , but basically it comes down to air/fuel ratio, and you trying to stuff more air than its designed to work with won't cut it. i guess you could richen it up to make up for the excess air , but that would assist in the cleanliness off your cylinder walls, at least until the rings started scraping metal off. No cheap way to get power like that, save your energy dude.

OK HA HA. I kind of half expectected a negative response. Brutaly honest is good. But if you do the google search you will see that there is a company that is selling a DC 12volt driven Roots blower AKA real super charger for about 1500$. The other kits with high spped 20k plus RPM motors 300$ and then the marine supply po boy setups 20-200$ if you go find the relays blower and wiring. Wasting my time is why I have to many hobbys. Beats playing golf.

From what I read this is a bolt on for the Fuel Injected ECU rigs because the ECU can richen the mixture if you jam more air down its throat. Carb rigs would require playing with the jets or mixture adjust.

Broke the lawn mower blade adapter this morning, You're supposed to take the spare tire off before mounting the lawn mower blade to the back door.
