Finally have my hands on the block. Since I will be doing a full rebuild, with all new2 internals, inus the rods and the crank, I'll be sure to do a fully documented write-up with pics. I was able to pick up a nice , almost complete, engine for $100, so I'm into it pretty cheap so far, but I know the parts will add up quickly. I'm going to dismatle the engine and hopefully have it to the shop for a good boiling, magnaflux, ream and hone by early next week. I'll keep y'all posted.

Aso, wh is the erdict for mounting the IC atop the engine, like the turbo diesel pajeros?
