Alright guys I got two rigs I am parting out. The first is a blue 89 with blue interior. The interior is complete, the seats have no rips, but are faded from the sun. The engine has only 92K miles, but the tranny is toast.

Also have a white 91, no interior, engine and tranny have 202K. Let me know what you need.

Want to try taking out the driver's side front quarter glass window, complete? One of mine has the handle/latch completely snapped off. I understand it's tons of fun to get out/put in. (This is sometimes referred to as the front wing window or the smoker's window).

Also, LWB's don't have sliding rear windows, do they? I need latches for two of those.

John, your comment on fun is overestimated. The fastest I've removed the assembly you describe is about 35 minutes with a fresh door. To get the piece you want is to disassemble the whole door. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" /> Fortunately, I have not had to reassemble the thing!! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />

Yeah Russell, I explained it in another post. Tain't no fun at all... After I figured out the order, it went much smoother on reassembly...

Fasteddy's advice is occasionally sound...

I will give it a shot, but it was 106 degrees yesterday and we are due for more of the same today. So, if it is that hot, I may not put too much time into it. You can't just swap latches??

As far as the latches, LWB's don't have them, but I do have a set from the old 2 door I parted.

There's nothing to attach the handle to. It's broken off flush with the black moulding. Not quite sure what happened to it.

I could use those rear window latches, though.

FWIW, I guess to get that vent window out, pretty much everything else has to come out of the door first, then it nas a nut on the bottom of a spring way up under the top part of the door. I'd guess that I would need everything that goes with it...?

Oh, also, how about a radio antenna, complete with the cable? I'd take headlight sprayer nozzles, too, if you have any.

I was looking for a distributor from the 89 if you still have it.
Also looking for the rubber front inner wheel well splash guards.
I'll pm you.

Thanks,
Dave

<edit>

and ISC from the 89...

<<re-edit>>

might as well say the throttle body with ISC attached...

Oh, hey, how about the front brake discs, calipers w/ brackets, flexi lines and backing plates?

Guess I'm going to need a total on all this stuff to 85014.

Thanks,

John B.

I was intercepted on the brake parts from a local source. Never mind on those, but still need the other stuff. Sorry for any inconvenience.
