Not mine, but I'll go look at it if someone needs some on it. I have enough already, but good price at least.
Edit: I'm making arrangements to see the Monty tomorrow...it's on the way to another errand.

Cameron, having to pay to get the RV and my Raider to smog this week has used up any 'extra' funds that would have gone to other things. I'm agreeing to see this Monty for the sake of my fellow 4x4Wire members. I already have another 2-door in the yard and a parts car coming free when my friend removes the engine. When I move the Ranch contents, I'm going to have 8 to go, plus my 1-ton Chevy. I'm hiring a buddy with a 50-foot lowbed to move the Chevy and 2 Monteros in one load, later.

Ok, Cameron was right. The 86 Montero has Aisin hubs, apparently runs, and hasn't been on the road since 1997. Second owner has had the Montero since it had 100 miles on it, now 108K. It's gold, stick and looks like our first Montero. So...one leaves, another takes it's place at the Ranch.

Chris, I know, huh? I am a few hours wrenching away from having the burgundy 4-door stripped and ready for removal. I knew when I saw the color of the 86 that I'd be picking it up, especially for the price. The only difference between this and our first Montero is the black paint along the door sill area not present on this Monty...me likes better. Second, when I examined the condition, I think it'll be more conducive to my cab truck project for smog purposes. As I will have an 86 Montero title to go along with my Dodge 4x4 chassis, I can likely get away with a carby 318/360 rather than trying to wire up FI. The 86 model is also less trimmed out than the later trucks, more exposed painted metal and less plastic inside...more beater and less refined, I think good for a trail truck. Pics: Chief, I'm going to keep the Aisins as spares for my Raider. I'll let you know if I find some more though. Ray got the last set I found. Russell the Montero Masochist
