I also went along with this and recieved an email from "ebay motors" saying to send money via western union. On ebays real page, it says to NEVER do this. I plan to mess with him now:)

His latest reply to me and the initial response to him below that:
Right now the truck is located at DAS shipping Department, and ready for shipping . I allready paid for the shipping and insurance because the loan of my
previous buyer didn't get approved so that's why the truck is there. I have a purchase protection program with them, so eBay will guarantee up to US$ 50.000 for any vehicle. Regarding the payment, you will receive invoice from ebay ..you will be instructed to deposit the money to an eBay account. They will hold and insure your
money until receipt of the truck in good condition. That is how their buyer protection policy is working. As far as the seller concerns, i will be glad to
know that eBay has the possession of the money during the delivery period. That is my insurance. You will get the truck and you have 7 days trial ,test period . After 7 days you will contact the ebay and you can tell them your decision. If you decide to
hold the truck , then you will have to authorize ebay to release the funds to me, and the transaction will be completed. If it does not matches 100% to your
expectations, you will return it in maximum 7 days since the arrival date. In this case ebay protection program will refund you the full amount in 24 hours
and the same delivery courier will pick up the truck and you don?t have to pay the return shipping.I am sure you will love the truck and will not want to
return it, but it is good to know that you do have this second option available. Give your full name and shipping address.I will start the transaction today and you will receive invoice from ebay with all the details about this deal .If
you have any question You can ask them .Also you can decline the transaction if you don't accept the deal. During this transaction , ebay will provide you all the the support you need and you can ask for all the details of t his deal.
Thank you and reply asap .

O.K., I have questions. When can I look at the car? What's wrong with cash if I'm there, looking at the car, and I want to buy it? Why do you need my name and address? Why would I want to enter into a purchase agreement with EBay when this vehicle is listed on Craigslist? EBay charges you fees. _______________
This is FUN!

I'll at least waste some more of his time.
I asked for more pictures, a VIN and a CarFax.

Plus he sent lots more pictures. It really does look nice. Too bad somebody couldn't MAKE him sell it for that, as in exchange the keys and clean title for real money in the amount of $2500.
Anybody got CarFax up and running? I'm NOT seriously thinking (or even sort of seriously, or at ALL) of carrying this any further. I just have some time on my hands.
