I'll be hitting Redneck Yacht Club in Fort Myers this Sunday also to test the 38.5s if anyone wants to meet up

Is that a real place? I thought it was something from a country song. Get some action pics, want to see those big rollers in action.

Yeah, LOL, except there isn't a lake and boats

Hi All,

Yes, I'll be there. Let's hope for some cool weather this time; better for camping and big fire.

Not many hills in FL for sure. Most hills at Hard Rock are artificial, from many years of digging out that quarry... very fun.

1992 montero, cranked t-bars, OME springs, 1-1/2" spring spacers, Homemade rear bumper and roof rack, 33" BFG AT, 1" body lift, Superwinch hubs, '95 SR locking rear axle, was AT - now V5MT1-3 5spd.

Still looks good for me. The Raidcan is still running.

So what was wrong with yours anyway? I never saw any resolution.

One of the funniest Wide World of Sports shows I ever saw was the one for the International Swamp Buggy championship, sometime in the 60's, I think, maybe the early 70's. Anybody from FL know if they still hold that race.

I the one noted, they were doing serious commentary about some guy who had been leading drowning out his buggy (if you've never seen a swamp buggy, it's a rail buggy with from 1-4 big hairy v8 engines, usually supercharged, with 4 5' tall tractor tires at the corners, which races in a canal around a closed course, or across the Everglades if yo so desire - think competition pulling tractor for the mud hole). This guy finally got his buggy fired back up, and just cut across the course and got back in front on the last lap and won the race. The commentators started wondering if he wasn't going to be disqualified, and asked the "local color guy" what the rule was. There was this moment of silence, and then the color guy says, "Rules? There ain't no rules in swamp buggy racing!". Note that this was at least 10 years before Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid was even a wet dream...

Sure I did Frank, in the Still no start post I started. This is what I said...

I'm happy to inform everyone the F-4 is on MIGCAP again. Man after I put in the new Caravan Module, I turned the key and I don't think it even did one revolution before it fired right up. Thanks to everyone who helped and Frank, I'll be there November for sure. I'm going to put on the front shields and take it for a test run. I left it running well past the point where the old module started to fail before it failed completely, and it was fine. Now I have a spare coil, GM module (which will come out after I lock the dizzy), pickup coil, and wires cap and rotor which I needed anyway. Now to enjoy a nice cold one.

thanks again guys

I saw some of that. Man that was a long time ago. No terrain like that at Hard Rock MX. In fact there is actual terrain at the place, probly like what you have up there. You ought to come down and check it out.
